Ratangad - Pune Mumbai
The Bhandardara region has a fort called Ratangad. This fort is the source of the River Pravara, also known as Amrutvahini. Ratangad, often referred to as the "Jewel of Maharashtra," is 1297 meters tall. Other from the gateways and water cisterns, the fort's remnants are sparse. On the fort is a building called Ranicha Huda that resembles a bastion.

One of this fort's main attractions is the Nedhe, or eye of the needle. Additionally, Chilakhati Buruj, a bastion overlooking the valley, is located atop the fort. The entire fort is covered in Sonaki blossoms in late October. There are two ways to reach the top of the fort: one goes from Ratanwadi, while the other goes to Samrad hamlet on the western side. The base village of Ratangad is Ratanwadi. The Hemadpanthi temple of Amruteshwar is a classic example of ancient architecture.
