The Valley of Flowers National Park, one of the two core zones of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve, is spread across an area of 87 sq km in the Chamoli district and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The second core zone is the Nanda Devi National Park. This is breathtaking, fascinating, and provides opportunities to deepen your travels. Therefore, start your walk at the Valley of Flowers if you ever want to explore the Himalayas or go on an adventurous hike. For those with an adventurous spirit, a life without seeing the Himalayas is still incomplete. The elevation of Hemkund Sahib is around 4300 metres. Astonishingly, the lake is resting at a height of 4300 above sea level. Along the trip, one can take in some wonderful sights. Although rather arduous, this 6 kilometre walk is worthwhile. It is extremely pleasant to see blue poppies, vajradanti, and brahmkamal flowers in addition to the charming natural beauty.
